Most of my career in education has been associated in and with schools that were founded in Pre-Independent India. Having moved to Siliguri in West Bengal in 2020, post-retirement, soon the yearning to be once again amongst children in a school environment and a team of educators, set in, and when the opportunity presented itself at a school still in its infancy, it was grabbed without any hesitation. A wonderful surprise awaited me on joining this amazing workplace. Within a very short span of time, I realised how fortunate I have been to have got this once in a lifetime chance to make a difference at large. The team of teachers I’ve been fortunate to inherit, are thirsty for all that would place them amongst the best in the profession, and with the four decades of work experience I have under my belt, I have no doubt that we would soon find a very prominent place in the educational sphere of things in this city.

Delhi World Public School, Siliguri, is a school with a difference. Don’t blindly believe me or for that matter anyone on what is said about not only this school, but for any school. It would be prudent on your part to go to the establishment and move around, meet people and talk to them, meet the students and talk to them, get as much feedback as you could possibly get from all sources or avenues, and then make an informed decision on whether you’d like to entrust your dear little one/s into the care and management of the establishment you’ve finally zeroed in on.
